Draw, paint, photograph, and explore the Casentino Valley in Tuscany!

This is our 16th ARTroads Academy workshop in this incredible locale, an hour from Florence.  Improve your talents, draw inspiration from the amazing locale, and use the time to focus on your art! Live like an Italian!

Your workshop includes:

• Classes: professional artists & instructors, 5 mornings, on-site, our instructors provide daily guidance on approach, techniques and results; Choose from our three curriculum:

  ‍ ‍"Acrylic and Art Approaches"; Chris Holt, or

  "Landscapes in Oil”; Richard Robinson, or

  “Watercolor ~ Tuscany & Technique"; Pamela Rhodes

• Accommodations: 7 nights, in 2 or 3 bedroom, "agriturisimo apartamente"* (restored, stone farmhouses, with modern kitchens & baths), in the luscious Casentino Valley, just 35 miles east of Florence

• En Plein Air, optional, afternoon painting outings, strengthening technique, and just more painting!

• Transportation: transfers to and from the local bus or rail station (10 minutes away) and to and from all ARTroads off-site events (airfare and transportation to and from your home aren’t included in the tuition)

• Benvenuti (welcome) reception & Tuscan buffet dinner, with local wines

• Daily Continental breakfasts, with local products (7)

• Mercato outing ~ a morning, supermercato and farmer’s market shopping

• "Vino Toscano" wine tasting with "Povere Cucina" cooking demo and dinner, vino included

• "All'aperto" lunch; onsite, with brick-oven specialties
